 My Wearable Arts Project

I haven't posted much on my blog about Wearable Arts so I thought It would be a good idea to post something now. My group and I have gotten a fair way along with our project but it will still be awhile to finish it. 

If you aren't from my school you may be unaware of what this is so; every second year at Grey Main we will have a Wearable Arts show with only Y7 and Y8 students participating. We team up in groups of three and proceed to make a so called wearable art piece of clothing.

This year we had a "future of the west coast" theme, so my group decided to make a dress themed on the glaciers of the west coast and the future tourism of them. We have created a skirt and gloves so far and are still finishing others parts off. 

The Wearable Arts Show will be next week and my group is working hard to get it done.

Reading - This week for reading Megan and I have made a slide about literacy elements we had to explain what they mean and we had to record our self explaining it.

Writing - This week for writing Megan and I have written about  mummies. First we had to write down what embalming and wrapping was and then we write down what some words meant after that we made a google doc and we write down all the information.
