Raising Flags With T1!

Flag Raising

Hi everybody, today I am going to talk about what my class has been doing this week.

As you can see by the title we have been raising flags. We had to start from scratch with limited items and limited amounts. All were were given was a small amount of tape, a lot of paper, scissors, string, a metre ruler and we were able to use pencils and pens to draw.

We had to make a flag pole with a flag that would raise without difficulty, It was not an easy task.

We had to plan it, construct it. After all that the result for our first attempt was a failure, yet we build of that fact and created a success (kinda).

It was fun to do and I recommend people to try this fun activity.

Reading Reflection T4W3 2016

Reading
This week for reading I have done work about the Authors purpose. I had to read some little paragraphs and decide if the Author was trying to: persuade the reader, inform the reader or entertain the reader. Here is my work.

Athletics Reflection T4W3 2016

Athletics
This week the whole school did Athletics. All of the school had to walk to where the athletics were being held (Anzac Park). It went on until six o'clock but I left at three o'clock so I didn't do all of the athletic activities. BUT I did do long jump, sprint and fun relays. The fun relays were quite cool. It was a three legged race and me and my buddy had to hold a shovel with a tennis ball on it. For the sprinting I came last and for the long jump well it was quite fun. The bad thing about it was I got sand in my shoes.
The End

Topic Reflection T4W3 2016

Topic
This week for topic I have made a google drawing on how to be safe around water. I had to put a video in it, an image, some information, and a Te Reo message. Here is my work.

Writing Reflection T4W3 2016

Writing
This week for writing I have done a piece of writing which is about a special place for my family. I had to write down why it is special to my family. I chose Nelson because I lived there for four years and my sister still lives there.  Here is my work.
